Arasan Theatre Tamil Nadu: Address, Show Timings, Ticket Price & Seating Guide

“Arasan Theatre” turns out to be a genuinely popular cinema name across the Coimbatore-Erode belt of Tamil Nadu — there’s one in Vijayamangalam near Perundurai, another in Sundarapuram, Podanur, and a third listed as Arasan Cinemas in Palladam. This guide focuses on the Vijayamangalam property, currently branded Arasan Theatre Dolby 7.1, since it carries the most established review history among the three.

Three Theatres, One Popular Name

Worth clarifying before anything else. The Arasan name appears at three separate cinema locations across this part of Tamil Nadu:

• Arasan Theatre, Cheran Nagar, Vijayamangalam, near Erode — the most reviewed, with an established Dolby 7.1 setup
• Arasan Theatre, Sarada Mill Road, Sundarapuram, Podanur, Coimbatore — a smaller, air-conditioned venue with digital facilities and parking
• Arasan Cinemas, Sukkampalayam, Palladam — a third location in the wider Coimbatore district

Whether these share common ownership isn’t confirmed by available listings, so treating them as separate venues for booking purposes is the safer approach. If you’re booking online, double-check which town — Vijayamangalam, Sundarapuram/Podanur, or Palladam — your confirmation specifies.

Arasan Theatre Vijayamangalam Address and Location

The full address is No. 169/1b, near Perundurai (Vattam), Cheran Nagar, Vijayamangalam, Erode – 638056, Tamil Nadu.

A few practical points worth knowing:

• Perundurai (Vattam) serves as the most reliable local landmark for directions
• Vijayamangalam sits near Erode, giving the theatre reasonable connectivity from surrounding towns in the district
• Cheran Nagar is a specific local reference point useful alongside the broader Perundurai landmark

What Arasan Theatre Vijayamangalam Offers

Currently branded Arasan Theatre Dolby 7.1, the venue has kept its sound technology reasonably current for a theatre serving this part of Erode district. A 3.5 rating from around 342 reviews reflects a solidly middle-of-the-pack, dependable local cinema rather than either a standout premium venue or a poorly regarded one.

• Dolby 7.1 sound gives the theatre a meaningful audio upgrade over a basic older single screen
• The theatre draws visitors from Vijayamangalam and surrounding areas near Perundurai, functioning as a genuine local entertainment option for this part of the district
• Detailed visitor commentary on specific seating comfort, snack pricing, or crowd experience wasn’t extensively available across the platforms checked for this guide

Given the moderate review volume and rating, a straightforward, functional single-screen experience seems the reasonable expectation, though checking recent reviews or calling ahead is worth doing if particular details matter to your visit.

A Note on the Sundarapuram Property

Worth a brief mention since it’s easy to land on this listing by mistake. The Coimbatore-area Arasan Theatre in Sundarapuram, Podanur, is described as an air-conditioned movie theatre with digital facilities and parking, screening Indian-language films. Detailed reviews for this specific location weren’t available at the time of writing, so if you’ve been directed here, checking current listings or calling ahead is a sensible extra step given the limited public information.
